Jasper, GA Jasper, GA Temporary Part-time Contract Temporary Part-time Contract $18 an hour $18 an hour 13 hours ago 13 hours ago 13 hours ago This role involves helping a person with a disability find a new job by assisting with applications during weekly meetings, attending interviews and assisting with following up with employers.
It involves 3 - 16
hours per week on average.
Some weeks there may be no work and others, there may be lots of work.
You may still hold the contract until more work comes based on client referrals from the state.
You will also help the person learn a new job on the worksite.
It will be important to model for the person and to suggest the best and most efficient way to do the job and excellent workplace behavior.
You will learn the job along with the individual and assist with orientation duties, clocking in and out, arranging transportation as well as communication between the individual, the supervisor and our company staff.
You will communicate between the client, client's parents and employer to assist with a smooth transition into the workplace.
Case notes on individual's progress will be due after each day of working with client.
The work schedule will vary based on client's work schedule and needs.
The position is and will depend on client referrals - immediate hire is needed a will need to start within a week.
A background check will be necessary.
Need to have flexible schedule and have some availability during the daytime and/or on weekends.
Schedules will vary based on client need; you will schedule your own appointments with clients.
